Casual employees

I am loading MYOB Payroll for casual employees.

Casual employees can work any amount of hours per week (0 to many), I need to set "Hours in Weekly Pay Period" to zero so I can input the actual hours worked in "Payroll" Enter Timesheet.

Loading the "Card Information", "Payroll Details", "Personal Details":
'Employment Basis' = Individual
'Employment Category' = Temporary
'Employment Status' = Casual

Loading the "Card Information", "Payroll Details", "Wages":
'Pay Basis' = hourly
'Hourly Rate' = $20
'Hours in Weekly Pay Period' = 0 ???????????

(the hours of the employee will vary from 0 to 50 - MYOB will not allow 0).

Is there a way around this?

Re: Casual employees

Hi

Enter 38 as the number of hours in a standard week.  In the Payroll Details tab of the employee's card click on the Standard Pay section on the left side and set the Base Hourly hours to 0.
