Additional Payroll catagories added to myob AR, not by account holder

Hi there,

 

We process payroll forntightly (today) in AR 2016.3 and since last fortnight there are over a dozen additional payroll catagories pulling though to each and every employee that were not added to the card files by us.

 

Our client is quering why we have done this, when we have not.

 

Could you please advise if this will be reversed and our clients account back to normal?

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

 

I've just looked into this for you and can confirm that we haven't had any reports of such issues in AccountRight v2016.3.

 

Is there anyone else who has access to the file that may have perhaps accidentally added the extra payroll categories? You can find a list of users who have access to the Payroll command centre by going to Setup > User Access and checking their assigned roles.

 

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to bulk deselect payroll categories from employee card files. The easiest way would be for you to go to Payroll > Payroll Categories > clicking into the relevant categories > Employee > deselecting all the employees in question and repeating this for each category.
