Price Rise again

Adding my voice to the masses of disgruntled MYOB users.

Another steep increase in AR of 10% this year after a 10% increase last year.

I was paying $55 a month and it's gone to $92. $660pa to $1104pa.

At about $600pa it was cost justified. At over $1,100 it is not.

You can't even downgrade from Plus to Std without starting all over again.

Looks like it's time to start all over again - but sadly probably not with MYOB.

These prices simply can't be justified.

An explanation would be welcomed - and not the standard canned response whihc everyone seems to be receiving.

Re: Price Rise again

Agree, just received an email advising of the increase to $92 a month. As a small business I can't justify this cost, will have to look at other software options elsewhere.......

Re: Price Rise again

Hi @Gary_

Thank you for your feedback in regards to the price increase of your subscription.

We do understand that this increase is significant to yourself, however, this was due to the fact that a prior discount on your account was added in June of last year. As that 12-month discount as elapsed that new pricing has come into effect and thus you are being charged for the full subscription cost for your AccountRight Plus subscription - $92 (as intended).

In saying that an AccountRight Live Subscription offers great benefits to clients including:

  • Live Services - cloud access, bank feeds, Pay Superannuation
  • Extended phone support
  • Discounts on training
  • Access to updates (such as the compliance updates)

And much more - Help Article: AccountRight Live Services does have a full list of the benefits. If you would like further information in regards to a benefit of an AccountRight subscription don't hesitate to get in touch.

Kind Regards,
Steven
