Payday Super - being able to choose date of payment
Over Christmas period I do payroll in advance as I have only salary employees. With the current Payday Super setup in MYOB, super will be paid before staff get paid! There is currently no option to choose a future date to process and pay super. This is pretty vital as it makes no sense to not be able to choose a payment date and super being paid in advance of actual payday.350Views27likes16CommentsAllow to set extra PAYG as percentage not set dollar amount
Oh, I'm really loving having to think of all the same ideas I already suggested over the last 10-15 years so I can add them again because they weren't trending well enough to be included in the new ideas exchange. Flat rate extra tax does not work well for casual employees. We are often asked to deduct an extra 5 or 10 percent and have to work this out manually each week. It would be great if we could use a % option for extra tax in addition to the flat rate. Flat rate is fine for permanent employees but if your hours fluctuate significantly, it's not okay.MYOB Employee Self-OnBoarding Email Notification and Backup of Data Submitted
Clients have suggested it would be preferred to receive copy of new employee self on-boarding data via email to advise that the client has completed the input of data and to have a trackable version. This will in the event the data doesn't update or submit as it has done on occation for payroll officer to enter into the system and also allows the employee to review and confirm details are true and correct.Unable to login
I am unable to log into MYOB business to do my June 2026 payroll. When signing in today, I was directed to a screen (that I've not seen before) which said I am the Administrator (which I am) and asked for my password (which I entered). I then get this message "Something went wrong. Try refreshing your browser If the issue persists, contact MYOB support". I refreshed the browser and tried to log in several times. No luck - contrary to MYOB voicemail that says they have identified an issue and to retry. Are others experiencing this issue today?6Views0likes0CommentsError in calculated pay
After processing the payroll, I noticed an error in the calculated gross pay for one of the employees. It appears that MYOB automatically changed the employee's hourly rate while retaining the number of hours I entered and the employee's usual pay amount per pay. As a result, the payroll was calculated incorrectly and overpaid the employee.12Views0likes0CommentsPay Super - ability to future date
With upcoming changes to Payday Super it would be extremely beneficial to be able to create a superannuation payment with a future date, authorise today and the payment is not taken out of the bank account until the future date. I often do payroll in advance when going on leave. With Payday super we need to pay super on the day of payroll. The current Pay Super in MYOB means that although the Pay Super is for a date in advance, that is effectively ignored and the money comes out of the bank account on the date it is authorised. This will put pressure on bookkeepers/payroll staff to have to either login on the payday to authorise super, or put cashflow pressure on businesses to pay super in advance of the payroll which seems illogical.345Views34likes12CommentsATO Reporting Category Fares and Travel allowance
