I really don't have time to be a beta tester, I just want to be able to process my payroll with accuracy and efficency. I did sent a list of suggestions a while ago when I was moved from my former provider (Ace payroll) who were purchased by MYOB. But nothing evenulated. Obviously there are other options out there, I feel I've reached a point where I need to start exploring them. But thank you for your response anyway. Teams approval duplicate hours This is driving me nuts!!! It would appear an employee can submit multiple shifts for identical hours without MYOB alerting the approving manager they are duplicates. So for e.g. an employee can submit they worked 9am - 3pm on Monday xyz date - there is nothing to stop them from submitting the same shift (identical hours and the same day/date) and getting those duplicate shifts approved and ultimately if not caught get paid for them. We have just moved from manually entering employees hours to getting staff to use the Teams app. It was supposed to be a time saving move, but so far it has been anything but. For e.g. and correct me if I'm wrong. You have to set an employee who is already registered with MYOB as a manager to approve hours. I'm not an employee (I own the business), so have had to designate a staff member to approve the hours of others. In this case the 'manager', has approved the hours of a staff member who a few days later decided to redo all their shifts for the week and resubmit them not realising MYOB would not recognise the shifts they had already submitted as duplicates. The 'manager' didn't remember they had already approved the duplicated hours a few days earlier and MYOB did not alert them to the fact. MYOB has happily added all the hours together meaning the staff member could have potentially been paid far more than their actual hours! Adding insult to injury I tried to get a staff member to deliberately submit dulpicate hours under a variety of circumstances to confirm the problem and.... THE APP JUST CRASHED and refuses to let her log back in. This feels like more of a rant than anything else, but there are some questions to be answered... One of which is why am I persisting with MYOB!
