(It's odd that MYOB would provide an upgrade that is less useful than the prior version) Thanks Richard Upgrading to Business from v19.5 We have just upgraded from the old v19.5 to Business(lite?). In the old version a lot of useful stuff was tied to the customer: Tax codes (we sell wholesale and retail), comments (opening hours, preferred delivery days, locations etc. this is used by the warehouse drivers as delivery instructions), invoice style and layout (commercial invoices could split out WET and GST), BSB and account number for customer payment. Our process is: The invoice is raised; a pdf is sent to the warehouse and a paper copy attached to carton which is then delivered. None of this is available in Business. After a chat session with MYOB we found a clunky work-around for the tax codes (new sales accounts for commercial and retail sales that need to be entered at every line item). I’m hoping there may be solutions for the other problems. SolvedRe: Can't confirm company files Hi Hannah Those links don't help, the phone number is no longer connected. I see on this forum that moderators are able to confirm files, until the automatic confirmation is turned back on I think that may be the only way to resolve this. It's a little alarming that this is such a persistent problem a third party can step in and make a buck out of it. This is a lousy way for MYOB to treat its customers. I will persevere for a while - MYOB should fix this and it looks like they do if you can break through to a competent moderator. What a rotten company. Richard Can't confirm company files We have accounting plus V16.5. It has stopped online confirmation (it says it is not connected to the internet - but it is). The "confirmation for older versions" link doesn't help - the phone number given is no longer valid and the relevant(?) web page has a 404 message. Is it possible to contact MYOB? I saw a chat connection somewhere on the website but can't find it now. I see other people with this problem were given direct links to a moderator - that would be great. We are running out of time to resolve this. Can't confirm company filesRe: Size of invoice Letter to A4 Hi Yanicke That's not it, I've set A4 as the prefered size as you suggest but it still defaults to letter. I've had this issue before and fixed it,- I just can't rember how. I do also remember that it wasn't the printer last time. Size of invoice Letter to A4 I've just shifted to a new computer and, when printing the invoices, it defaults to Letter. I can alter this manually to A4 every time I print but I can't rember how to reset the default to A4 so I don't need to do this each time. Solved
