I have tried to speak to someone before about this and they didn't understand what I was trying to say. Your "support team" don't understand why we cant' open our files, when the upgrades in software have forced us to upgrade out desktop files. This is a major PR error for MYOB I'm afraid to say. I have downloaded the SE edition, with all good intentions of using it for the 3x offline data files (I purchased 5-data file software with no need to put these online). I also contract to other companies and access their on-line data files. So I downloaded SE, did a backup of the 3 files, created the SE file to go to a new library I created (where I put the backups), turned off my internet on my computer (just in case), and can't open anything up. Re: Unable to search Job # Fixed - I created a NEW ROLE for this person giving them Administration access (which I shouldn't have had to), then unticked everything that I didn't want them to access. Very time consuming for something that I thought would have been more simple. I would have thought that job number searching would have been appropriate for anyone entering Sales or Purchases. I have changed the roles as best I can (that's complicated in itself) - entering job numbers, reports, etc is all ticked appropriately, but for some reason she can't do a search??? Unable to search Job # Hi there, I have a User who is able to access Cards, Invoices & Bills. Unfortunately when they go to Find Transactions they are unable to do a search under the Job No. (it's greyed out). How do I allow them to be able to do this because there doesn't seem to be a roll for this? Thanks for your help.
