BNZ bank feed disconnections

Update 27/08

Hi all, today the BNZ bank feeds have been disconnected as per our previous announcements.

For any customers who did not reconnect their bank feeds prior to today, you will now need to set it up again.

Update 19/08

There's one week to go, MYOB will be sending more communications to customers today to alert them to reconnect.
If these steps below are not taken before the automatic disconnection on the 27th August, then customers will need to set up their bank feeds again as a new connection and will then be required to reconcile between the old and new bank feed.
To avoid any inconvenience, please reconnect now following the instructions below  
*FYI - Partners will receive a list of impacted files/customers by email

Hey everyone. 

 

From 27 August, customers on the original BNZ bank connection will have bank feeds automatically disconnected, due to an API upgrade from BNZ. 

 

To reconnect your bank account or credit card, go to app.myob.com > Banking Hub > Click Reconnect BNZ bank accounts.

    Hey, we are on AccountRight but didn't get to reconnect our BNZ feeds before 27th and have now registered new ones. But with online version are unable to assign the correct category, it only shows "undeposited funds" The old accounts are still showing but obviously unlinked. If we try and do change accounts via the desktop app we get errors re previously approved matches. Really frustrated as previously linking was fairly simple...  But are you able to assist at all please?  Many thanks Guy

    It can be a real pain when something that’s usually straightforward decides to get tricky, especially with those errors and unlinked accounts. To really get to the bottom of what’s going on, please raise a support case through MyAccount so our team can jump in, dig deeper, and help sort this out properly for you.

    Can you please confirm that your post here ONLY applies to MYOB Business? If so, when will we get the solution for Acumatica sites?

    Hi Amanda,

    What happens if the client can log in to MYOB but does not have the right user access ie cant see the Billing section and so can't reconnect to BNZ?

      Hey Romina_S​ 

      The BNZ reconnect is done through the Banking Hub in their file. They will need to have the user access type of Owner, Online admin or Advisor with administrator roles and permissions.

      If they don't have that user access type, someone that is able to login with the user access types I mentioned above will need to login and update their user permissions.

  • Hi All I just want to check this is for MYOB Business and NOT MYOB EXO Business? And if this is not for EXO Business, when will we get the instructions for EXO? Thanks.

  • Hello Amanda, I now have the same issue as Guy_P - I have requested the new bank feeds from BNZ and they are now sitting in Accountright and the Banking hub, but im unable to associate them with the asset/liabililty accounts in MYOB the now cancelled bank feeds were associated with. I get an error in account right to unlink the accounts and also in the banking hub online the asset/liabiilty accounts are not present in the category list to associate the new feeds to.

    Can you help please?
