Finding transactions just got easier

The “Transactions” tab in Find transactions now makes searching simple and clearer results at a glance – so you can get in, find what you need, and move on. With new filters and richer results, it’s quicker to spot the right transaction and spend less time searching (or second-guessing). 

 

With this update, you can now:

  • narrow searches with new filters: transaction type, contact and category
  • find the right transaction easier with more context at a glance
  • spend less time searching and troubleshooting transactions

  • Unfortunately, this has made finding and working with transactions no easier.  MYOB has missed out on developing a truly helpful find transaction screen.  Two fundamental features are missing here and applies when looking at all transactions for a specific account, 1. A split between debits and credits (two columns) to make viewing the transactions easier and 2. Displaying the account opening balance, movement in debits and credits and the closing balance for the date range selected.  ARL has it right here, the find transaction screen is brilliant.  This cannot be hard to implement as the developers that originally developed the reporting system in Business wired this into the enquiry screen when drilling into accounts from various reports. We surely do not have to run a report to get this functionality.  It is absolutely maddening that I still need to go back to ARL, if it is available for the ledger in question to do my transaction problem solving.

    Oh yay, I thought, but no. It's for the browser version. Could you maybe specify which product your posts apply to so that we shouldn't get our hopes up if we're using the desktop version?

    i can't find transactions as the "record" function has failed on multiple ocsassons since 16/1/26...noone at MYOB is able to rectify the multiple assorted issues that offline users have trying to deal with

        hello amanda...It is unnecessary for my myob file to be online and pay a subscription...one of your crew has tried three times via team viewer to deal with the offline file issues. As of today yet another person has suggested further actions to try and solve the issue. It is now a waiting game to see how long the backup, clear cache, uninstall,  download SE and PC file, restore backup using PC file lasts...i'll be popping IT on my CV for sure after this last few weeks.
