Hope you have had a great week.
This week we welcomed over 250 new members to the MYOB Community Forum, and over 520 posts were made, including over 160 from MYOB team members. The MYOB team have been working really hard to deliver faster response times on the forum in recent weeks, so we hope you are all finding the forum a very convenient resource for getting the support you need and the most from your software.
Special thanks to this week’s top five contributors to the forum - JenPerram, jenniek, Murray_McKenzie, Nic-acc-addons and Mike_James.
Julie_A_C had the most posts marked as Accepted Solutions this week, closely followed by jenniek, Murray_McKenzie and ronatbas.
Thanks again to all those who so generously shared their expertise with others during the week.
A few community members this week asked me about the trusted, valued and super rankings that forum users can attain. The questions were timely as we are currently looking at improving the ranking system.
Currently the ranking is determined by four elements:
- The number of posts you have made
- The number of posts you have tagged
- The amount of Kudos you have received from other community members
- The number of answers you have posted that have been marked as an Accepted Solution.
We’ve noticed some people have never added tags to posts, but rank highly in other areas. I do encourage you to tag posts, not just to increase your ranking to the status you deserve, but because tags help community members find content of interest. You can learn more about tags in our Forum Help section.
As we work on improving the system, we would be happy to hear your feedback about the elements you believe should most affect a user’s ranking. What do you value most in other forum contributors?
