Forum weekly update #3

Hi all,

 

Hope you have had a great week.

 

I mentioned in my community update last week that our upcoming redevelopment of the MYOB Community Forum will make Accepted Solutions much more prominent. We think Accepted Solutions are really important in our goal to help make business life easier. We want to ensure that if you have an issue, you can get the problem resolved as quickly as possible.

 

Often other forum users have had the same issue, and had their problem solved by one of our MYOB support team or the many other helpful experts that so generously provide their time and expertise on this forum. Searching for an existing Accepted Solution is always going to be much quicker than posting a question and waiting for a response from others.

 

This week one of our most active forum users Clive provided seven helpful responses that were marked as Accepted Solutions. Other key contributors to the forum this week who provided many Accepted Solutions included Tazter, Murray_McKenzie, electriccrooze, JenPerram and Mike_James. We really appreciate the contribution these contributors have made. Please remember to mark a post an Accepted Solution if it solves your issue so you can help others.

 

Thanks also to our contributors this week who received the most Kudos from other forum users for their posts. Our top five this week were sprout, rusty192, Val_Taylor, Clive and JaneB. MYOB staff also provided assistance on the forum on over 160 occasions in the past week, as well as their work answering queries on Twitter, Facebook, LiveChat and email. Meanwhile, our telephone-based team members answered over 6000 calls. 

 

A special welcome to the 500 new members that joined the Community Forum in the past seven days. It was certainly another busy week on the forum, with over 950 new posts. Most activity was again on the AccountRight and AccountEdge payroll board. The average response time before a reply was posted on the payroll board was 17 hours, although many posts received helpful responses very quickly.

 

I should have some exciting news on the progress of our forum redevelopment next week. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any suggestions on how we can make business life easier for you.
