Hope you’ve had a great week. Here at MYOB it’s certainly been another busy seven days, particularly with preparations now well underway for the 2014 end of financial year in Australia and New Zealand.
We know there is an incredible amount of work that businesses need to complete at end of financial year period to meet all their ATO and IRD obligations. And we know it’s not always easy to keep up with the regular changes to your obligations and find the information you need.
We also know that every year there are many tasks that must be completed within a very tight, stressful timeframe. Those activities might include performing stocktakes, processing final pays for the financial year, running key reports, closing the payroll year, downloading and installing the compliance update, reconciling PAYG witholdings, loading new tax tables, preparing and printing payment summaries, entering end-of-year adjustments and so much more.
We certainly appreciate the end of financial year is the time of year when many of you need us most, and we made many changes this year to better service our clients and Partners. We hope you noticed the difference, including the many proactive measures introduced which were designed to better equip you with resources you need.
But we acknowledge that we can always still do better, including making further changes to our most popular products, as well as improvements to our self-service help options, and our phone, LiveChat, email and Community Forum support channels.
If you have any suggestions that you would like us to implement for the 2014 end of financial year period to help make business life easier for you, please let us know. We really value your feedback and will certainly use it in our planning and preparation for 2014.
It was another busy week on the Community Forum, with over 235 new members joining the community and over 550 posts, including 170 from MYOB staff. A big welcome to all those community members that recently joined us.
