Hi all,

It was a pleasure to meet so many Accountants, Bookkeepers, Certified Consultants and other MYOB Partners at the Roadshow event in Melbourne yesterday. Sorry if I missed anyone in the amazing 1000-strong crowd! It was very exciting to hear so many stories of thriving businesses and how many clients are discovering the time-saving and collaboration benefits of the cloud.

The Roadshow events have been held across Australia and New Zealand in recent weeks and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re particularly excited about the reception to MYOB PayDirect, which turns your smartphone into a payment terminal. There has also been much excitement about the new-look LiveAccounts, which will soon be transformed into MYOB Essentials Accounting. And look out for an update for AccountRight very soon!

This week the March MYOB Business Monitor Report was launched, and it was pleasing that the SME sector is showing significant improvements in economic sentiment and business conditions. The report showed a rising proportion of Australian businesses reporting annual revenue growth compared to recent years, and a growing number expecting revenue to rise further in the next 12 months. We hope you find the data from the regular surveys useful.
