I think we just have classic tax.
Anyhow I ran the update this morning with no dramas.

Hi JoeleneCLM,
We've performed two this morning already, one PM Plus site and one Classic with Vizpost. Both went through without any errors. It's the Profiles sites that are always "entertaining". We have about 45 booked for this weekend, but so far looks like we're off to a good start.
Cheers!

I get my IT guys to do my install. They started on Wednesday - no luck. Worked with MYOB techs till 6.00pm last night. Now have a senior technician working on it this morning for the last 2 hours - apparently there is a known issue.

Hi Nag,
What type of installation are you running? Classic Tax or Profiles based? If it is Profiles based they may be referring to the known security changes in Windows that break the installation when using a mapped network drive. The solution is to change you configuration to use UNC paths (eg: \\<server>\myobae), or remove the applicable Windows updates. I don't recommend that as I had it brick a server during uninstallation recently.
You will need to update the module.ini, ceedata.ini and registry key locations on the server to complete the installation. You can read more in the following KB51806321.
Feel free to send some info through, I might be able to give you a few ideas.
Cheers!

I am running AE Profiles based (I think). There was a senior MYOB ananlyst working on my system along with my IT guy for 3 hours yesterday and another 3 hours again today - still not sorted. All I know is the message from my IT guy is MYOB is aware there is an issue with the upgrade.

Hi Nag,
No problem, it sounds like that issue. If so the error message received would have been:
Error 1315: Unable to write to specified folder
<folder path and name listed>.I have fixed these on a couple of sites and it is easy to miss one of the paths.
Cheers.
