    Its a world of pain, occationally in the past I've had clients not realise they had Bank Feeds (or decided not to use them) and merrily continued on, importing bank entries for years.

    When they finally realise import bank statements was a waste of their time the feeds are basically unusable,  untill all the historical feed transactions are hidden.... A task that is not for the faint hearted particulary when you're looking down the barrel of hundreds (sometimes thousands) of transactions needing each one to be manually hidden!!

    Some good news;

    I have successfully used AutoHotkey to accomplish the task for several clients. It work well but you need to be confident enough to create your own scripts (little bit like basic programming)

    It would be far better if MYOB allowed the hiding of multiple trasnsactions at a time. MYOB will tell you add your vote to the wishlist for this.

    Note: The Wishlist is the place where obvious quality of life ideas go to die.

  • How do I send a private message?  I need to delete a bank feed accidently brough in, there are 4 years worth of transactions!

    Help?

  • Hi Carole29

    When a bank feed is imported into AccountRight it can’t be deleted, instead, the process to remove these would be to hide them.

    To hide a bank feed transaction you would right-click on the transaction in the bank feeds window and select Hide Transaction.

    For more information please see this Help Article Hiding bank feed transactions
