Is there a way to get the item description in addition to the item name to appear on the auto build report?

Thank you for taking the time to share your concern with us and we apologize that you encountered difficulties in getting the item description added to the item name to appear on the auto build report. We are truly grateful for your patience and understanding on this matter.
Regarding your concern, you may get the item description in addition to the item name to appear on the auto build report by going to Setup >> Customize Forms >> Choose the form >> Click customize button below >> Click Insert/Modify >> Choose "Item Description" from the lists >> Click Show to add the "Item Description" >> Click OK.
