Create new user. User id already in use even though it is inactive as email address incorrect

I have a current user in MYOB which has the wrong email address. I have made this user inactive.

Then tried to create a new user with the same user name (persons name) but different email address. 

MYOB says

 The USERID is already in use and cannot be reused.

 

Then I created the user access in my.myob then when I try to create the user in myob so that they can access to the file I get the same error.

    • Hi MYOB,

       

      The user access MYOB created for the user to the one file was administrator access and they could view all files.

      I have delete this access.

      The original issue has not been resolved

        Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for letting us know about this. 
         
        I have responded to you via private message and rechecked your account. I can see that the access has already been canceled. I have sent another access request for the company file with user access only. Could you please ask the user to check their email again and let me know if they have received the user access invitation?
