MYOB Teams - Leave Request Reason doesnt' appear on app

I have employees trying to submit leave requests via the app but when they go to the leave reason there is no options available.

I have checked card files for leave entitlements - correct

Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app at the same time of deleting the user and reinviting them but still doesn't appear.

We have just introduced Teams to our business and don't want our employees (or us) to lose faith in the app as it has so much potential.

 

I have noticed on the forum that this seems a common issue which concerns me greatly.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks for your post, and we're sorry for the delayed response.

     

    If an employee is trying to submit a leave request but there is no leave reason to choose from, make sure that the entitlement is set up correctly. An employee listed in the MYOB Team has a pay basis of hourly, which means that the calculation basis of their entitlement should be Equals [x] Percent of. If this doesn't work, please uninstall and then reinstall the application.

    Had already double checked that employees had entitlements linked to their card file and did not resolve the issue.

    Have uninstalled and reinstalled - not resolved.

    Have uninvited and reinvited - not resolved.

     

    We also have issues with the geofencing being only 200m and as we are on a farm property the offices are further than 200m and myob advised that there is no way of changing the distance.

     

    I have been trying to problem solve the 'leave request' issue for over a month now and still not resolved. That and along with the geofencing limitations we have made the decision that using Myob Teams is not for us.

    Thank you for updating us.

     

    Kindly send us a screenshot of the employee card file where we can see that the entitlements are linked. Also, please advise the employee to use a different device to see if it will make any difference. Also, does it happen to all your employees?

     

    Regarding your concern about the geofencing being only 200 meters, you can post it on our MYOB Business/Essentials Ideas Exchange board for consideration for future updates.

    I have attached the card files clearly showing that the entitlements are selected.

    This is an issue for all our employees and we have tried on several devices. Uninvited and revited, unstalled the app and reinstalled.

    We have now given up and not using Teams. Something that was supposed to make payroll easier has just made it harder.

     

    Won't be pursuing any further.

    We're sorry for the inconvenience you've encountered using MYOB Team. As per checking the screenshots you sent, it appears that the entitlements are all linked to the employee. If you could also send a screenshot of how the entitlements are set up so we could look into it further. Thank you for your cooperation.
