I am new to the organisation and note that we have jobs created, but not cost centres. i would like to use cost centres and jobs under these cost centres to monitor jobs within these cost centres. Is that possible in MYOB web version. If it is how do I set this up? Struggling to find information on setting up for the Web version..

Does that mean you can only have jobs in the web version not both cost centres and Jobs under them?

You’ve got it right. In the browser version, you can only use Jobs; cost centre tracking (Categories) is only in the AccountRight desktop app, so you can’t have cost centres with Jobs “under” them on the web.
If you need both together, you'll need to use AccountRight desktop for those transactions and run your cost centre and job reports from there.
