Why does myob identify bills that have already previously been entered with the same invoice number to avoid duplication?f the same invoice number to be added without any warning

I'm finding that MYOB is allowing me to re-enter a previously entered bill without warning me that the bill has already been entered which is causing unnecessary duplicated bills at times.  Is this an error with my system only or does everyone find this can happen and is this something that MYOB can look into rectifying?

    Thanks for posting your concern in the forum. 

     

    I'm sorry to hear about your feedback. I understand how this affects your workflow. Unfortunately, the Business app does not give you a warning for duplicate bill or invoice numbers. The application just auto-fills the next sequential number after the most recent invoice or bill number created. 

     

    I recommend posting this in the Ideas board for the development team to see. 

     

    In the meantime, feel free to create a new thread if you require any other assistance.
