BUSINESS VERIFICATION

MYOB Support,

I'm writing to confirm that I have now uplaoded and provided the necessary trust details, so that my business can be verified, despite my strong disagreement with the requirement - due to personal details being included in the Trust Deed. 

 

I felt the process was quite confrontational and, frankly, slightly threatening - particularly the warning that the email functionality for invoices would be disabled if I did not comply.  Unfortunately, MYOB did proceed to stop the emailing of invoices, which has been disruptive to my business operations.

 

Now that I have submitted all the required documentation, I expect the email functionality to be reinstated immediately.

 

Would you please advise when the email function will be reinstated.

    Hi Doreen,

    This has nothing to do with Financial Services because we do not want to use the online payments. We just want to be able to email customer invoices through MYOB like we did earlier. I too have uploaded the identity document of the Directors but this morning I got a message saying there were 8 more people who had to complete the process!!! Who on earth are these people and worst of all the "Dashboard" link on the email is disabled. When I access our account, I can't find where to go to obtain the information on who these 8 people are. I hope you are not asking for the Managers' identity documents as well. Why is MYOB holding it's clients at ransom like this, forcing them to divulge personal information and disrupting their business operations? I think all MYOB users should file a class action against MYOB for unlawful business practices.

    Thanks for pressing on and submitting the required documentation. That's a big step sorted. To get answers or help about the reinstatement of emailing functionality, you can ask the team directly by creating a case for them. Head to MyAccount and click on Contact Support. You should then see "Financial Services" in the drop down menu.
