Clicking a contact on an invoice doesn't open the contact

When you click on the contact for an invoice, instead of opening up the contact, it just opens the contacts search.

Either the invoice or the contact would be useful, opening another search page doesn't help at all.

 

When opening multiple invoices if you click down the wrong column you just open a bunch of search pages, it makes no sense.

    Regarding your concern, upon checking, we don't have a reported issue regarding this concern. Could you please try to do the basic troubleshooting like clearing the AccountRight cache and then try to log out and log back in after clearing the cache? If the issue persists, could you please send me a screenshots of what is showing on your screen so we can assist you further?

    Hi Celia_B 

     

    The issue is easy enough to see, for any invoice on the invoices page, click on the customer name which is a hyperlink.

    You would expect this to take you to the customer or even the invoice, but it just takes you to the contact search page.

     

    For bills the supplier name isn't a hyperlink, so it doesn't have the same functionality and so its not an issue for the Bills.

    Not sure why, but my post was moved from where I posted it in the MYOB Business part to AccountRight. Althought they are the same product from a license side we are trying to use the web interface since it will likely be the only option at some point.

    I avoid using the desktop app now, but of course there are still things completely missing from the online version like being able to create or change invoice designs or assign users access to the Capture app.

In AccountRight, although browser accessibility is maintained, there may be discrepancies in feature availability.
