Contractors and Timesheets

I understand the Time Billing section is for employees only. Would this be suitable for non-time billing time for employees? We have casual staff whose time is not billed to Customers.
The other query I have is whether there are any time billing apps that link to MYOB, as I believe we would be unable to use the Time Billing Section for our needs.
We hire contractors to undertake jobs. We need to track jobs and the contractors' hours, mileage, expenses, etc. Some of these contractors are sole traders and are considered 'deemed' employees, but others are partnerships and companies which do not fall into that category.
We obviously need to pay the contractor and also invoice their fees to the Customer.
Any thoughts on a system that will migrate with MYOB would be extremely beneficial.
