Emailing paid invoices

Hi, when emailing paid invoices to customers the email has a big green pay now button even though when you click the button it says paid.  Customers are complaining - how do we fix this?

    Apologies for the delay in response. 

    Can you please confirm if you're still experiencing this issue?  If the invoices have been paid, the status should now be reflected.

    No, the problem still exists,  I just emailed a paid invoice to myself and this is what shows in the email - when I click through it shows paid, but the email says it's still due.
