MYOB allow to show NEGATIVE Inventory Quantity or not ?

I understand there are use cases for a negative inventory value. Unfortunately, the application does not support this. Instead of having a negative inventory, the app asks you if you want to build, buy, or backorder items to produce the inventory. Rest assured we will raise this as a suggestion to the development team.

In the meantime, feel free to post again in the forum if you have any other concerns.

You are looking at instructions for a different product. Only v19 Enterprise allowed Negative Inventory. This was a feature specifically excluded by MYOB from the current AccountRight versions. An Enterprise file with this preference switched on cannot be upgraded to AR2023.

You can download it from here. The product is no longer supported by MYOB and they may not sell you a licence to use it. You may want to check this with MYOB.

It is as gavin12345 has mentioned, the sales team won't be able to sell you a subscription for the V19 Enterprise because it was part of the classic lineup which is now phased out.

We want to set up the below function "Allow the recording of sales with insufficient on-hand item quantities" and do as the instruction from this link: https://help.myob.com.au/prem19/win/sales_10.008.htm#:~:text=Allow%20negative%20on%2Dhand%20item%20quantities&text=If%20you%20want%2C%20you%20can,hand%20item%20quantity%20and%20value.

but we do not see Allow the Sale of Items with Insufficient On-Hand Quantities option, (it just show the option: "Use standard Cost as th Default Price on Purchase Orders and Bills [System-wide])

Please show me how to set up.
