    Hi kno,

Thank you for the comprehensive information you provided, as well as for taking the initial troubleshooting steps. I apologize for the delayed response.

This issue commonly arises when the email address isn't associated with their my.MYOB account. To resolve this, navigate to Setup >> User Access and choose the desired User ID. Next, opt for 'This user will sign-on with a my.MYOB account (Recommended)' and input their email address in the Email field. Afterward, save the changes. This action links the User ID with the specified email address, allowing the client to successfully access the MYOB Invoices app.

Please do let me know how you go on this.
    Regards,
    Earl

Thank you Earl for your response. I am a little confused There is only one person with access to AccountingRight  My.MYOB and Invoice with the one email address and that is me.

Since the original post I set up an invoice in AccountingRight with limited information and was able to successfuly add extra products using the app and record payment So it seems to be the acessing the data except when trying to load the list of contacts which is fairly large as a Trademe Trader

    Hi kno,

Thank you for your response. Would you mind trying to log in using a different device to see if you encounter the same error? Your assistance is appreciated.

Please do let me know how you go.
    Regards,
    Earl

    Hi kno,

Thanks for confirming and my apologies for the late response.

When logging into the MYOB Invoices app, the sign-in process involves two stages. In the first stage, you enter your my.myob email address and password, followed by a unique 4-digit PIN. After completing this initial stage, you proceed to sign in to an individual online AccountRight Live company file.

During the second stage, you input the user ID and password associated with one of the logins inside the specific company file. For instance, you may use the default login credentials of Administrator with a blank password if you haven't set a password for the Administrator user ID. If you prefer to establish a login for this second password, you must set an offline password within the company file itself.

Within AccountRight, navigate to Setup->User Access, and choose the user ID you intend to use for logging in. If the option "This User will sign on with a my.myob account" is selected, click on "Set an offline password" and provide a password.

Afterward, click "Done" and then "Save" on the user access screen. If the my.myob sign-in checkbox is unchecked, simply enter a password and click save. Note that the dots displayed during password entry remain consistent, serving as a security measure to prevent password guessing. Subsequently, log out of the Invoices app and log back in, entering your Company File password during the second stage. You should then have access to features such as managing contacts and invoices.

Please do let me know if you're still having issues so we can investigate further.

    Regards,

    Earl

    Hi Eddied33,

If you use the MYOB Invoice app, you don't need to create an offline password because the app only uses online logins. If you're having trouble with editing logins, let us know the specific issue you're facing, and we'll be happy to help.

    Thanks,

    Genreve
