VERIFICATION OF BUSINESS

Dear MYOB,

 

I have completed the online verification, as requested, but cannot download any documents regarding our business being a "Trust".  I have notified MYOB of this and received the below email:

 

"Hi Sharon,
 Thank you for submitting your verification request, for Secure Invoicing through MYOB.
 
Please note that you don't have to download any Trust information from MYOB, you will need to upload it to MYOB. If you have the full Trust deed, please upload it, alternatively you can also upload just the last 3 pages of the Trust Deed.
 
Completing the verification process is essential to ensure you can keep sending invoices through the software.
 
We require some more information to complete the verification of your business. This information is required by 2025-06-18, to ensure there is no impact to your invoice sharing functionality.

Information required:

  • Trust Deed: Full copy of executed trust deed for "name of trust deleted" Trust
  • Identification: (only JPEG and PNG file formats are accepted)

Provide a color scan/photo of current Australian Driver's Licence (front and back) or Australian Passport for the Appointer of the Trust.


How to send the information:

Please upload documents via the Secure Link ONLY, to avoid processing delays.

I also have an ACN.  If I was to complete a new "verification" could I use the ACN instead of ABN in hope I do not need to upload personal Trustee documents to MYOB.

    Hi Sharon,

    I don't know whether it will be possible to change from using your ABN to your ACN and how this would impact the documents required of you.
    In most cases, I believe we are provided the ABN when accounts are created and this is what the team would likely be validating.
    You can ask the team directly by creating a case for them. head to myaccount.myob.com and click on 'contact support'
    You should then see 'financial services' in the drop down menu.

    I know that there are multiple customers who are struggling with needing to provide a trust deed, if you find that this is possible, it would be fantastic if you could share the outcome here for the community.

    Where have all the posts gone re the verifying of Company information???

    I am happy to verify our business, but we do not want to use MYOB online payments, and do not want to supply MYOB with our financial information.  

    Now we have 6 days, or will be cut off from sending invoices from MYOB, a basic accounting procedure which should be available via our subscription.

    Hi cramptons​ , the posts have not gone anywhere. No posts have been archived or removed since early March when I first posted a summary of common questions and answers.
    Summary post here 
    As per previous replies and private messages, what you are requesting is not possible.
    To continue using the MYOB platform for distribution of your invoices, you are required to complete the verification process in its entirety. 
    Alternatively, if you do not complete the verification, then you will be required to send them yourself, likely by printing to PDF and then emailing through your gmail/outlook etc.
