We've recently taken on a new client and having to lodge the single touch payroll files back in the 2021 financial year.
The files have come back with an error however when trying to review the error in the single touch payroll reporting section, the 2021 financial year is not visible in the drop down menu (only the 2022 and 2023 financial years are showing).
Is there a fix to be able to view the 2021 files in this section?

Thanks for your post. Only the current and prior payroll years are available in the STP reporting centre>>EOFY finalisation tab. To finalise previous years you would need to contact the ATO for other alternatives.
The Reports tab does show all years that STP has been reported. If the 2021 year doesn't appear in this tab it indicates STP was not reported in that year so you would need to contact the ATO.

As this is not something you can do through MYOB, take a look at STP Creator - this works with MYOB offline files and allows you to specify what year to report. It also allows you to correct STP reports your clients may have lodged though other software that were reported incorrectly.
