Accountright payroll

First pay in new financial year is crashing after hitting the "Record" button. Same thing happened last year and the tear prior to last. Any recommendations

    Thanks for your posts. Can you please provide me with the below information so I can arrange to have a script run over your file:

    • Last 4 digits of your product serial number 
    • File ID of the file (This can be found by going to Help > About MYOB AccountRight)

     

    Please sign out of your file and let me know once signed out, so I can arrange the script.

    Hi SMPENG

     

    Connection error is a different error and not related to the above error, please follow the instructions and troubleshooting steps on this Help Article Error:Connection error. I'd also recommend clearing your AccountRight cache

     

    Additionally, if you are processing a large payrun please try to record it for half the employees and check to see if that works.

    We need a fix asap.

    Hi Melisa_D . The same thing is happening to our MYOB payroll processing. Can you please run script over mine also.

    Serial number last four digits 0178

    Company File ID: 1

     

    I have signed out of my file now.

    Hi Melisa_D 

     

    Unfortunately it still did not work. At the end of payroll I pressed "record", it then gives you the notice to confirm that you want to record, I then press "record" again.  After a while it tells me that the action has timed out. Once I press okay I receive the error message:

    Unable to connect. Possible causes include:

    - an issue with your internet connection

    - the company file is being upgraded or restored

    - The AccountRight Live service is undergoing maintenance

     

    Please advise what I should do now.  Thanks

    Hi Melisa_D 

     

    Have tried all the fixes you provided below and still crashes.  I even tried processing only one employee but still same problem.

     

    I do find it strange that this is happening on the first payroll for FY23.  I would have guessed that it is an issue with the new year rather than my server etc.

     

    Please advise where to from here as I need to process payroll.  Thanks.

    All fixed now.  Not sure what fixed it, but it is working.
