Currently, approving managers cannot view employee balances before approving their leave via the Admin Team Portal or MYOB Team App. The balance will need to be provided by the payroll officer via the employee card file, or from the employee's payslip. If an employee does not have enough hours to take leave, a warning will appear at the time of the pay run being processed to advise the balance will become negative until the hours are accrued back.
I do however understand a feature/enhancement that can display this information prior to approval (within the app/web portal) would be a lot more efficient for business, so, I would definitely recommend heading to our Idea Exchange Board where you can put this forward to our developers for review, and for others to vote on.
