CANNOT EMAIL INVOICES OR REMITTANCE OR ORDERS VIA OUTLOOK

HI,

AFTER LOOKING THROUGH THE COMMUNITY MESSAGES SEEMS TO BE A COMMON THEME HAS THIS BEEN ADDRESSED YET?  

THIS MAY HAVE SOME-THING TO DO WITH THE INTERFACE TO ESSENTIALS.  AWAIT YOUR ADVICE.

    Hi TSGW 

     

    Welcome to the Community Forum. Please refer to the System Requirements for AccountRight and Microsoft Office to ensure the version of AccountRight and Outlook are compatible. 

     

    If you are using the correct version, then I recommend uninstalling both programs, then reinstalling them.

     

    To do this:

    1. Uninstall AccountRight and Microsoft Office.
    2. Rename the program folders mentioned below.
    3. Disable Antivirus.
    4. Reinstall Microsoft Office.
    5. Reinstall AccountRight.

     

    The program files to be renamed are: 

    • C:\Users\<user.name>\My Documents\MYOB\
    • C:\Users\<user.name>\AppData\Local\MYOB\
    • C:\Users\<user.name>\AppData\Local\Programs\MYOB\

     

    When re-installing, I recommend right-clicking on the installer and choosing "Run as administrator". 

     

    Let me know how you go with the above troubleshooting, and if you still need assistance, it would help if you could respond with a screenshot of the error message.
