Draft payrun not showing in desktop version

Hi,

I've searched for an answer to this and have come up with nothing.  We have recently put our file online due to upcoming STP compliance and I thought I'd use the online version to do payroll.  I'm not sure if this is normal but if I start a payrun online and save it as a draft, I can't access it in the desktop version.   It says "A payrun was saved with the following details:  01/01/0001..." and if I press "continue" it says "Somethings gone wrong and Accountright needs to close".

I have tried it after logging out of each version and re-opening Accountright desktop.

It doesn't give much faith that anything done online is going to be updated correctly in the desktop version.

Thank you Chris, I appreciate your time.

  • Hello Woodsy4

There could be some different reasons as to why the "Somethings gone wrong and Accountright needs to close" error is popping up, would you please be able to provide some more details about this with a screenshot of the document when you click on the "View error details".

We do have a Help Article on the something went wrong error message which will have some troubleshooting but to further investigate I would need the error details message.

Thanks for your reply Chris.  This is the error information.  We are using Windows 7 still due to our Point of Sale in case that is of any relevance.

Thank you for attaching the screenshots, I was able to investigate this error message.

Currently, you will need to resume and complete the pay run in the browser as opposed to resuming it in the desktop app.  Our team is looking further into the cause of this issue and hopes to rectify this in future releases.
