Link a User ID to your MYOB account

Trying to do the step 'Link a User ID to your MYOB account'  is proving frustratingly impossible! Whatever I try in this prompt ends with a message 'Something went wrong' - leaving the password blank under Administrator does not work either. I am wondering if there is a fault at the back end? It is very difficult to get through to the MYOB helpdesk, the wait times are very long. I don't know how to fix this.
