MYOB leave Different on Payslip to Entitlement report

We upgraded from MYOB Preimer V19.4 to Accounting Right online this Financail year.

 

One of our staff members had an Annual leave payout before we did the upgrade. The issue is his Payroll advice says 162.08 hours but his Entitlement Balance should be 119.30, which is shown on the Entitlement balance summary.

 

Is there a way of fixing this? or is this a known issue which needs to be fixed up by someone at MYOB

    Thanks for your post. I'd recommend checking the Entitlement Balances between your old Premier v.19 reports and compare it against the new reports.  If the numbers still aren't lining up the help article on Incorrect entitlement balance should prove useful.

    We are having the same issue. I did have a look at Incorrect entitlement balance and it does resolve the issue on discrepancy on Entitlement report. However, it would result into an incorrect balance on payslips. Can someone please help me with this.

    Hi Aile_Globe 

     

    Although you've had a similar situation to Alex76 , the incorrect balance on payslips could be a separate issue. I'd recommend first checking that leave and entitements have been properly set up.  If the error is still occurring after taking the steps we can continue from there, see the help article leave and entitlements

  • Thanks for your prompt response Theresa. 

     

    We recently upgraded to MYOB Premier from Classic. 

     

    When I run the entitlement report showing A/L, P/L and RDO, the balances on RDOS were incorrect but that of A/L & P/L were all correct. When we print payslips, the YTD balances for A/L, P/L and RDO were all correct. I have checked the set up and they were all set up the same way. I have checked the balances from Classic to Premier and they were all correct. It's only the entitlement report that doesn't seem to be calculating or showing the balances correctly only for RDO. 

     

    Any other solution that you could recommend please? Thanks.

    Have you run a summary or detailed report? Is it happening to each employee or just one? Can you send through a screenshot with more information (including RDO category setup) so I can see what the setup is like so we can try to troubleshoot.
