Notification advising Update required during payroll processing

I received a notification whilst processing payroll. It advised that an update was required before I could connect to the ATO for payroll STP reporting. 

How can I be advised of this in advance?

    Generally speaking, if you are receiving that message it typically indicates that you are on an older version of the software, potentially a decommissioned version.

    Check out AccountRight Releases and AccountRight Scheduled Decommissions regularly to see about the current version of the software and when older versions are scheduled for decommissioning.

     

    In saying that, to resolve your Payroll reporting error I would make sure you are on the latest version of the software which is AccountRight 2022.1. Help Article: Getting the latest version would be able to assist with that.
