Paid Super to employee with wrong super fund name

Hello team

 

I paid superannuation via MYOB payroll 'pay superannuation' function for last quater. Due to some human errors, few new staff's superfund name had been entered incorrectly (membership number was correct, but instead of Australian Super, it's been entered as REST). The employees claimed they haven't received any super paid to their account, but i haven't received any fund bounced back to our bank account. could you please advise how can I track the fund which have been paid to the wrong superfund company?

    I imagine that the best way would be to contact REST a and get it back that way

    Thanks for your post. You would need to contact the super fund that you've linked to the employee in regards to the funds, if you can send me a private message with the following information I'm happy to send through the batch ID of the payments the employee would have been linked to so you can check with the fund:

    • Serial number 
    • Your full name and email address 
    • Employees name 
    • Date and payment amount of the super payments
