Payroll Summary YTD shows variance with STP Reporting YTD

Thanks for your post. STP reports filter the YTD amounts paid by the ATO reporting category assigned to the payroll category. I'd recommend running the Payroll Activity detail report and check the payroll categories for that employee, make sure they all have the correct ATO reporting category assigned.

Also run the Payroll Activity summary and Payroll Register summary, make sure they have the same YTD amounts.

(Actually the payslip YTD of the current period is the issue)

I've checked the payroll category, all has been assigned.

I ran dummy post; the payroll summary is now tally with STP reporting figure.

The remaining issue now is the YTD figure of current period payslip only shows the fixed monthly salary of the current period plus of December 2021 (only the fixed monthly salary). All the hourly pays for the past 5 months are not included in the YTD figure.

Only if I run payslip from July to current period, that hourly pays are shown.

Can you  help?

My apologies for the delay in replying to you. Can you please go to Setup>>Preferences>>Reports & Forms tab and make sure Include all YTD amounts and Entitlement Balances on Paycheques Stubs is ticked.
