payroll

Hi there, I have recently upgraded MYOB from 2019 to 2020.1.

I have noticed that entitlement balance is different on reports and does not match with employees last processed payslip. 

The balance on the reports is correct. could someone please help me how to resolve the issue.

    Glad to hear that workaround resolved your issue with TOIL. Strange that it changed the annual and personal leave amounts though. If the YTD amounts are now displaying differently on their payslips then yes definitely follow the same process to correct this issue.

     

    If the actual balance is now incorrect make sure that you deleted the annual and personal accrual hours in the void pay. You may need to delete that void pay and reprocess correctly.

    We are aware of an issue in 2020.1 where the payslip is displaying the Year-to-date (YTD) value of the Entitlement section, instead of the Total, in the employee's card. This help article has more information and the current workaround: YTD amounts on payslips 2020.1

    Hi Tracey,

    Thanks for the reply. I did follow the steps u mentioned to complete void payroll. I had few employees whose entitlement balnce (TOIL) was incorrect. So once i entered those carry over figures in the nil payroll, the balance was shown correctly on the payslips and did match the reports. It was for banked (TOIL) hrs.

    However, with one of the employees payslip i noticed that TOIL hrs was corrected, but this step did change the annual leave and personal leave hrs balance.They were correctly shown previously, but changed after i did this step.

    So in order to correct those Annual and personal leave balance, do i have have to do the same step dleting the figures from carry over balance and create a nil payroll by entering tose figures in accrued annual and personal leave.
