Unable to change details on a superannuation payroll category.

I set up a salary sacrifice deduction but linked it to an incorrect liability account.

I now can't edit this payroll category at all. I can change the linked account, unselect the employee, but nothing changes - there is no OK button at the bottom.

I have looked in this forum  and in July 2019, there was a similar issue and the response was to clear the AccountRight Cache.

Is this still correct and how do I do it? I have just updated to 2022.4.0.

    Hi Joanna1008

Strange - might be caused by your screen resolution - MYOB recommend 100%  (right click on desktop -  Display Settings - Scale and Layout).

Alternatively try setting the required account etc then click in the Threshold amt box, next click tab twice - this selects the OK that you may not see, then press Shift + Enter - screen should save and close. Re-open to check it updated correctly.

    Regards

    Gavin

    Hi Melissa,

I can assure you that I'd done this before emailing initially and many times since in the vain hope that the OK and Save button would appear.

It doesn't! As previously stated, Gavin's fix did fix the issue but this is not a long term solution should the same thing happen again.

I can leave this where it is now because I no longer have the problem but there obviously is a glitch.

With EOFY looming, I can't waste any more time on it so thank you for trying.

    Best wishes,

    Joanna

Thanks for your post. Can you please attach a screenshot of the category when attempting to update it so I can take a look into this for you.

    Hi Melisa,

Screenshot attached. Obviously I want to change the liability account to super payable!

Please note, I am only here on a Tuesday, so will reply when I can.

    Many thanks,

    Joanna

    Hi Joanna1008

Thank you for the screenshot. When viewing the superannuation category, can you please click on the maximise button on the top right hand corner of the window. Are you able to then view the category and scroll down so that you can click Ok to save now ?

    I've highlighted the button below:

Do let me know how you go.

    Hi Melisa,

No difference - no "save" button to be seen!

    Hi Gavin,

Thanks - selecting the "hidden" OK button that isn't visible by the method you described worked!

I now have this up my sleeve, but I will continue to wait for MYOB to fix the glitch for me on a permanent basis.

    Many thanks,

    Jo

    Melissa,

I am attaching the same screenshot as before.

Gavin has given me the trick to save my changes anyway, so if I take a new screenshot now, the correct payroll liabilty account is selected.

However, there is still no OK and save button visible.

    Hi Joanna1008

The Superannuation Guarantee payroll category window is longer now due to new Contribution Type field and STP Phase 2 information being added.

You will need to click onto the minimize button I've highlighted on the tip right hand corner of the window below in your screenshot, the scroll function will appear on the right hand side along with the OK button:
