BAS Rejected by ATO

I have the error listed below when lodging the BAS using the Online interface (After validating).  It never failed before, for quite some time now.

I have seen posts related so same error but no method of what to to next. It appears that the ATO should reset the status as rejected and they it will work again.  Is there a more systematic way to get this systematic problem?

 

We experienced an unanticipated failure while communicating with the Agency.

    Hi Eduardo01 

     

    Currently we don't have any incidents reported for BAS lodgement, it could be a connection problem at the time of trying, so please do give it a try later. 

     

    If the error persists, I found this old post where the user had the same error resolved it by contacting ATO, I'd suggest giving that a try as well.
