Pay Liabilities

I have been using Pay Liabilities to pay PAYG withheld to ATO each month (IAS) for employees.  When recorded on individual employee cards the total amount for all employees is posted for each week on an individuals card.

e.g 2/4/2018 $18,101.00  9/4/2018 $18,101.00 etc.  instead of $144.00 for week.  How can I resolve this?

  • Hi LynneH

We are aware of a display issue with AccountRight 2018 versions for Pay Liability transactions in the Find Transactions>>Card window. What happens is that when viewing the card transaction it will show the individual lines that make up that payment but the value for those lines would be the full value of the transaction. For example, say the amounts being paid were $100, $50 & $25, in Find Transactions>>Card it will have three lines showing with the line value being $175 for all those lines.

This has been something that has been reported to our team for further investigation and correction in a future release.

Note: This is a display issue only, the actual transaction and accounts affected are coded correctly as per the Transaction Journal for that transaction.

    Thanks, Steve

.  I also have a discrepancy in Payslips.  Employee under Workcover  paid on different weeks shows on his payslip history Workcover entered in 2 lines with the total amount paid over the 2 weeks in both lines.

    Hi LynneH

Payslip information is generated from the Payroll transaction and history of the employee's card. If you are finding a value that is appearing on the payslip that shouldn't be listed I would be reviewing the payroll transaction record for the employee for that particular pay.

If you require further assistance with reviewing that payslip and payroll transaction do let us know, however, if you could provide a screenshot of the payroll transaction and a copy of the pay slip it would be much appreciated.
