Payroll Reporting - Wages showing zero dollars and wrong dates.

Hi all,

Hoping I could get some help with an issue I am having in payroll and payroll reporting.

I have entered some payroll for the 2022FY after the 30 June and all items added or altered dated within July for the 2022FY have shown as zero dollars and all show a date of 30 June 2022. This is applicable to only one employee which I had also entered some reversals to correct hours paid. The total wages shown include all wages up to the last changes which I am having the issues with.

Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi SRSPL

I'm sorry to see that no one has replied to you yet, I hope you were able to get this resolved. To clarify on update events, these are payruns with payment dates in the past and only send the YTD amounts to the ATO. This means that the pay period amounts are not sent so will show as $0 in the reporting centre>>Reports tab.

You just need to check that the correct YTD amounts have been sent by clicking on the STP report to show the report information. Then click on View employee YTD report and check the employee year-to-date section is correct.

Please don't hesitate to post again if you need help in the future.
