Terminating employees

Has anyone else come across this problem 2 casual employees with exactly the same name.  As no-one bothered to reply to my last post and year end is almost on us, I've changed the name of the employ...

    Hi mistyben

     

    I get your struggle with telling two employees with the same name apart. As of now, MYOB doesn't currently let you use the employee's ID during termination. Your trick of using capital letters for differentiation is smart! For a lasting solution, how about sharing this idea on our MYOB AccountRight Product Ideas Exchange board for feature consideration? When it comes to the termination process, make sure to follow all the steps. This involves removing the termination date on the card file and under employee termination on the STP reporting center, then sending an update event. Hi Shella - it worked by removing the termination date, running a 0 payroll, sending the update through, and as the employee's name had been changed to CAPITALS I could then pick them up and terminate.  This is a very long winded way around what would be a very simple task if the development team added the employee ID number to the termination screen
