Multi-currency on Browser Version
Is there a timeline for when Multi-currency will be available on the browser version? Using the desktop version limits us to apps we can add on that will sync with the multi-currency side of the business13 minutes agoPlace AccountRight: Inventory and Multi CurrencyAccountRight: Inventory and Multi Currency10Views0likes1CommentMoving to AccountRight
I have started doing work for a company that uses MYOB Business Pro only online. The product has limited functionality compared to the PC addition of AccountRight, when it comes to more complicated Bookkeeping transactions. They have been using this product for years with difficulty and I can see how much better it could operate with the correct software. AccountRight would allow me to use the more diverse accounting type of functions, while they can still use the AccountRight online version which operates the same as Business Pro anyway. Has anyone found that they needed to move a client to AccountRight instead of staying with an online version with reduced function. Is it something that I just need to get used to, or how hard it is to move it all to AccountRight. MYOB will only migrate from AccountRight to Business and not the other way around - I will have to do it all myself which makes me very nervous. Any comments or advice, or is anyone an expert at doing this particular task? thanks33Views0likes3CommentsExport employees information to excel
It would be great to have a function that we can export employees' all information to excel. We can share some information like name, address, phone and email address to company admin staff, rather than let them login MYOB to view such information. Thank you for your consideration and support.7Views0likes0CommentsReporting help sought
How can I produce a view of customer purchases that shows: Customer name Products ordered within a time frame Quantity of products per order Amount paid per product Sales Order Summary, Sales Order Details by Customer, Customer Last Sales Date all have some of this, but I can't find any report that contains each bullet point. TIA for advice.6Views0likes1CommentMYOB Online Payment Reconciliation
MYOB online payments has just been activated on our account and several customers have unknowingly paid invoices via this method. It seems that MYOB allocates payment to the invoice as soon as it is paid, so how do I correctly allocate the bulk deposit from MYOB in the bank transactions?12Views0likes3CommentsCalendar dropdown not responding
Hi, for the last week or two I cant enter / change calendar days by clicking with my mouse. This includes clicking the right & left arrows. Nothing responds - the calendar just collapses back and shows the date already entered. I can overtype but it's getting frustrating. Ive tried in both Safari and Chrome, and checked my operating system currency. Like I said - it worked fine but now doesn't work at all.23Views1like4Comments3 Things Connected Accounts Can (and Can’t) Do for You
Managing your business finances can be a headache, but what if you could take some of that stress off your plate? Connecting Solo to your bank account helps you keep your records up to date, improves financial visibility, and reduces manual admin—saving you time to focus on what you do best. ✅ What Connected Accounts Can Do Automate Transaction Imports No more manually entering each transaction—when your bank is linked, your transactions flow straight into Solo, keeping everything up to date and reducing human error. Speed Up Bank Reconciliation Matching up your invoices, expenses, and payments can be a real time drain. With a connected account, Solo automatically helps match transactions, cutting down on the work-work. Hint: make sure you click that final match button! Give You Real-Time Cash Flow Insights Knowing where your money is coming from (and where it’s going) is key to running your business. A connected account gives you a clear, real-time view of your cash flow so you can plan ahead with confidence. ❌ What Connected Accounts Can’t Do Create and Send Invoices Just because money is coming in doesn’t mean an invoice magically appears. You still need to send invoices (either through Solo or another method) to keep your payments on track. Upload and Manage Receipts Connected accounts show you transactions, but they won’t store your receipts for tax time (we’re not mind readers—yet!). You’ll still need to upload and attach them manually. Categorise Every Transaction Perfectly Solo is smart, but sometimes it needs a little help. You’ll want to review and tweak categories, especially for more complex expenses, to make sure everything is accurate. 🔍 What About Historical Transactions? We know some Solmates want to see past transactions, and we’ve got you—our devs are already on it! But don’t worry, everything you’ve done in the last few months is still in your account. Just make sure you’ve got invoices and receipts handy—your accountant (and future you) will thank you. 💡 The Bottom Line Connected accounts make life easier, but they don’t replace good bookkeeping. Stay on top of invoices, receipts, and transaction reviews, Solo will have your back helping you run your business with less hassle.62Views0likes0CommentsConnected Accounts - Getting Started
We’d love to say linking your bank to Solo is effortless, but the reality is that some banks are still catching up with open banking. Every bank operates a little differently, but we’ve done the legwork to help make the process as smooth as possible for you. There’s a lot of info here, but don’t worry—we’ll walk you through it step by step. So, grab a coffee, take a deep breath, and let’s get started! Wait, What Is Open Banking? Open banking lets you securely share your financial data with trusted apps like Solo. It’s part of the Consumer Data Right (CDR), regulated by the ACCC, ensuring your data is protected and shared only with your consent. When enabled, your banking data syncs into the Connected Accounts section of Solo, making it easier and safer to manage your finances. Before You Begin: A Quick Checklist Your account is more likely to connect smoothly if: ✅ It’s open banking-ready (most new accounts are!) ✅ Your bank has your up-to-date contact details (no old emails from 2009) ✅ You’re using a currently supported banking product Step-by-Step: Getting Connected Check Your Bank Details First (Trust Us, It’ll Save You Time) Your bank will verify your identity before allowing data sharing, so make sure they have: Your current mobile number (for security verifications) Your updated email address Your correct ID details 💡 Why this matters: Most connection issues happen because banks have outdated contact details. Fixing this first can save you from headaches later. Special Account Types Joint Accounts Everyone needs to give the green light to share data. Approval is usually done via your bank's online platform. Any account holder can pull the plug on sharing at any time. Business Accounts The designated reps need to approve the connection. Managed through your business banking platform. Older Accounts If your account was opened before open banking kicked off, double-check: Is your banking product still available? Do you need to upgrade to a newer version? Does your bank even support open banking yet? (Some are still catching up!) Getting Your Bank Account Open Banking-Ready To enable data sharing, follow these steps: Log in to your bank’s mobile app or internet banking. Look for "open banking," "data sharing," or "consumer data right." Give permission to accredited third-party providers (that's us!). Manage your sharing settings anytime via your bank’s Consent Dashboard. Is your bank asking for an OTP, but it’s not coming through? OTPs are handled entirely by your bank, not Solo, so if you’re not receiving one, it’s worth checking that your contact details are up to date with them. Still no luck? Reach out to your bank, and if needed, escalate to higher support—they’re the only ones who can fix it! Talking to Your Bank? Here’s What to Ask Not all banks have fully embraced open banking yet. If you’re running into trouble, it’s worth checking with your bank. Ask them: Is Open Banking enabled for my account? If not, when will it be available? Still need a hand? Drop a comment below or reach out to our digital assistant in the app to connect with a Community Lead for extra support.
