For our salaried employees paid monthly I wish to review the payment due for the month of March payable on 1st April 2026, as there is always minor changes to the taxable amount payable in the new financial year which need to be reflected in teh AP set up with the bank. However trying to start this payment process, MYOB is not allowing me to progress this payment saying " You can only enter pays for current or previous financial years". How do I continue with this payrun?

Thanks for sharing the March pay run details and the April 1 payment date. What's happening here is that pays can only be processed within the current or previous financial year. Anything dated 1 April 2026 falls into the new financial year won't go through just yet. Once you've started the new year, you'll be able to process that pay run as expected and update the figures as needed. If you're reviewing things ahead of time, you can still run your March reports using a March date. Come back and finalise the actual pay once the new year is in place.
