Failed to load Payables reconciliation with tax report

Hi there,

I can't seem to be able to load a payable rec report past the 23rd May 2025. I have tried to clear cache and browsing data, and I have saved my reports settings as suggested in previous post.

Unfortunately the issue persists. Could you please help me?

Thank you

    Hi AmandaC70,

Awesome to hear it’s running smoothly in AccountRight. Pulling a full year of data in the browser can be heavy and sometimes makes the report time out, that’s why it didn’t load. If you’ve already tried the workaround Doreen_P shared and it’s still not working, we can run a script to sort it out, we just need you to contact our team so they can apply it to the right file. You can call, chat with our virtual assistant MOCA, or lodge a support ticket via MY Account, whatever’s easiest. All these options are on our website.

    Cheers,

    Princess

Hi Amanda, I have tried on both website and desktop version of AccountRight and unfortunately the same issue persists. My chart of accounts doesn't seem to have changed so I don't know what else to do. I hope you get yours sorted

  • We are having the same issue trying to reprint Payables Reconciliation for the year end 30/06/2025  The report runs without issue in AccountRight.

    Hi MarjorieC,

Yes, that’s right, if header accounts accidentally sneak in as detail accounts under another header, it can trigger the “Failed to load” message when running a report. On your audit question, the Journal security audit report lets you pick a few transaction types to see who changed what on a transaction, but it doesn’t track chart of accounts structure changes like a header becoming a detail account. A handy workaround is to open your Accounts list, show the Type or Level column, sort or filter to spot any headers marked as Detail or sitting under the wrong parent.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

Thanks Doreen, the page you directed me to suggests to Check the Accounts tab [to see] If any header accounts have mistakenly snuck in as detail accounts under another header account. Is there a way to run an audit on my file to find out if an account has somehow changed level or has become 'detail'?

    Hey MarjorieC,

You’ve done all the right things already with cache clears and saving your report settings, and the fact your Payables Rec report won’t load past 23 May 2025 matches what others are seeing too. You’re not on your own. Here's a Community Forum post covering the same “failed to load” issue for Payables Reconciliation With Tax report. Workarounds were provided so the report runs again.

    Cheers,

    Doreen
