MYOB Development meeting

Imagine it's a Monday morning, and the head of MYOB development has entered the boardroom where all of his top-notch developers have already gathered. He bids them good morning and then gets right down to business.

"Who here has a sensational idea for the next version?"

Heads turn, and from the group, one hand goes up.

"Watkins. What have you got?"

"Well, what about giving our subscriber base the ability to email receipts? God knows they've been asking for that feature for long enough."

"Fifteen years or more," Wallace adds.

The rest of the group look at each other and begin shaking their heads in disbelief.

"Why weren't we told? That's something every other accounting solution has had for an eternity."

The head of development looks around the room and disarms the incredulity with a single utterance.

"No, we won't be doing that. We're going to roll out something no one ever asked for: Single Sign-On. And we'll make it use whatever the user has installed as their default browser. This will go a long way toward finally driving home the fact that we don't care at all about requests from our subscriber base."
