App contacts not loading

  • I’m unable to access contacts when using the app using iOS 18.3.1.
  • The app messages repeatedly says “something has gone wrong” try again but no matter how many times I try the contacts are not accessible.

  • I've actually solved this problem. As i cannot bulk select customer cards in MYOB and set them to inactive, I paid a third party to do this for me. I set 45,000 of my older customer cards as inactive and left 165 as active and the phone app immediately started to work again. The problem seems to be too many customers causes the app to time out when trying to load so many customer cards to the app when creating a quote or invoice. Hope this helps others with the same problem.

    Hi Doofus_RUfus,

There's no strict limit on how many customer contacts you can have, but having loads of data might slow things down, which seems to match up with what you're experiencing. If basic troubleshooting doesn't help, you can check out these two posts for more info on the issue.

I've also pinged the team about any possible contact limits and will keep you posted as soon as I hear back from them.

    Cheers,

    Princess

  • I have the same issue. When I log in it is always right up to date with our accountright file, but if I try to create a quote or invoice, you have to select a customer and Customer contacts won't load -  It worked fine when I started the new file, then I imported 47,000 customer contacts from another Accountright file and now when I try to select a customer, it always says “something has gone wrong - try again". All my employees whether on Android or iPhone now have the same problem. I read somewhere someone thought there was a quota limit on how many customers you have. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the apps on all phones but to no avail

    Hi actsmart,

That error message isn't ideal. Since you're on IOS 18.3.1, can you try a few things? First, make sure the app is fully updated. If it is, try closing and reopening it or even reinstalling it to see if that helps.

Also, check out this post MYOB Invoice APP | MYOB Community it has some steps that might help. If the issue keeps happening, it's best to reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant MOCA or submit a case via MyAccount so they can double-check things for you.

    Regards,

    Sai
