Double Payment of Super - please help to rectify

    If you've paid super twice, it means you've recorded two super transactions to match the two bank withdrawals. It's a bit tricky to provide the exact info to resolve this issue without having more details on what was recorded. This requires a further look into the payroll and super payment transactions. Hi BalmoralPnC,

 

There are two ways to fix duplicate payments: you can either include the adjustments in the next pay or reverse one of the payments created. If you choose to reverse a payment, it's important to check if you were charged twice for the superannuation payments. If you were, you'll need to contact the superfund to arrange for the overpayment to be returned. You can find more information on correcting payments through this link.

Thanks if status if processing am I at risk of this being charged twice? Nothing out of bank account yet. Ifdoneon 27/12 what date is it likely to be drawn?

    Hi BalmoralPnC,

     

    If the status of the super payment is still "processing," you're not at risk of being charged twice. Since no funds have been withdrawn from your bank account yet, and considering the payment was made on 27/12, it is likely to be processed within the next few business days. This is in line with the standard processing time for super payments, which can be affected by any issues during the process.
