Employee's super fund incorrectly changed by MYOB?

We just had 2 superannuation contributions returned to our bank account.  Both employees whose contributions were returned are with Living Super.  When I checked this month's Superannuation Payments by Fund report they are listed under Superhero Super.  Their employee cards have both been updated to Superhero Super, but this change was not made by myself or our other payroll officer.  Living Super is now no longer in MYOB's list of superannuation funds.  Is it possible that MYOB has made this change in a recent update?  And if so, why?

    Hi KMLoxton,

If an employee's info changes out of the blue and it's not done by anyone authorised, our team can look into it. We'll check the Session Security Audit Report to track when the changes were made and who was logged in. Additionally, we'll review payroll and super payments transactions to spot where the changes occurred.

As for that superfund that suddenly disappeared from our list, sometimes this happens because of updates like new superfund names or identifiers. Our team can check and access your file if needed. So, reaching out to our support team directly is the best way to resolve this.

  • Hi Princess_R ,

It would make sense that the employee info was changed by a human, but there are only 2 of us with access and neither of us have made that change!

Also, it doesn't explain why the superannuation fund these 2 employees were with has suddenly disappeared from the list of funds in MYOB.

If I do as you suggest and create a support case in MyAccount, are there log files or something to enable them to see when changes were made and by whom?

    Regards,

    KMLoxton

  • Hi KMLoxton,

MYOB updates don't mess with any of your file info. So, if something seems off, it might be a human-entered error. It's worth double-checking those previous super payments and employee payroll details. For a deep dive and thorough fix, our support team is your go-to! Just pop into MyAccount to create a support case, or connect with our live chat agents via our virtual assistant, MOCA. Don't forget to throw in all the relevant details and some screenshots of those employee details. Good luck!

    Cheers,
